We are recruiting for an Account Manager based in Northern Belgium to join a global leader specializing in high-throughput multiplex immunoassay solutions.

Our client is a leading provider of multiplex immunoassay solutions, offering a range of instruments, assay kits, and custom testing services. Their innovative technology is recognized for its high reproducibility and scalability, making it a reliable choice for drug development across all stages, from early discovery to clinical trials. Serving a diverse customer base, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, academic institutions, and CROs, they have established a strong foothold in cell and gene therapy research and broader immunology applications.

Role Responsibilities:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding market presence within a designated territory in Belgium. You will cultivate relationships with key customers in academia, biotech, pharma, and contract research organizations, ensuring they receive tailored solutions to meet their research needs.

You will also:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, acting as a key liaison between clients and internal technical teams.
  • Drive sales revenue through strategic prospecting, account development, and customer engagement.
  • Implement sales programs to achieve and exceed targets, identifying growth opportunities in the market.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product portfolio, including capital equipment, consumables, and services.
  • Work closely with Field Applications Scientists and Inside Sales to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Keep CRM systems up to date, ensuring accurate and current account data.

What we are looking for: 

  • B.Sc. in Life Sciences or related field
  • 5+ years of sales experience managing multiple geographic regions, preferably in industrial and/or academic markets.
  • Strong technical background, ideally with knowledge of molecular biology, proteomics, and competitive assay technologies.
  • Proven track record in territory management and business development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within France, including overnight stays as needed.
