In 2021 our colleague and friend Simone Taylor passed away from triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) at the age of 32. Triple-negative breast cancer is a particularly aggressive and devastating form of the disease, which mostly occurs in women under 50. There are fewer targeted treatments for the disease and more research is desperately needed to develop new drugs and treatments.

Raising money to support cancer charities was a cause very close to Simone’s heart. The Simone Taylor Fund will donate to a variety of cancer charities selected by her family and colleagues. These charities support genetic diagnosis, scientific discovery and research, the development of new treatments or help those currently living with cancer.

It’s an annual tradition that we bring together our London & Leeds offices for a summer party, all whilst fundraising for one of our fantastic charities as part of The Simone Taylor Fund.

the whole team in fancy dress

This year, we spun a wheel of fancy dress ideas & took to the infamous Otley Run in Leeds, all whilst raising money for Target Ovarian Cancer.

Thanks to the team, we managed to raise an incredible £115, and enjoyed a fantastic day out with the team in the sunshine. This brings our total to date for The Simone Taylor Fund to a whopping £24,207! Enjoy some fantastic pictures of the team below, and a huge well done to everyone involved! See you next year…
