Invenia Group has partnered with a rapidly growing organisation based in the Netherlands, looking to hire a Business Development Manager for its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company providing production facilities and expertise for small biopharmaceutical companies.
Role responsibilities:
Reporting to the CCO, you will be responsible for acquiring new manufacturing projects from the market. You will:
- Proactively attract new opportunities and transform them into leads
- Write commercial and convincing quotations to turn leads into new clinical or commercial projects in close
- Act as a point of contact for clients from early lead to commercial contract
- Maintain strong relationships with your clients and retain them to increase sales volume
- Represent the company at conferences
- Chair technical meetings with new clients
- Keep up to date with market trends
- Travel is also required for this role
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with knowledge, experience, attitude and drive to acquire new projects for clients and contribute to the company’s success. You should:
- Be proactive in generating new leads
- Be customer-oriented, acting as a key person between clients and the company
- Be creative and capable of generating solutions for clients
- Have a commercial attitude
- Have knowledge of biopharmaceutical CMC processes
- Have a bachelor’s degree in life sciences, chemistry, or pharmacy and at least two years of relevant work experience within the industry
- Fluently speaks English; knowledge of Dutch is preferable
