Invenia Group has partnered with a growing manufacturer of specialized scientific instrumentation to hire a Senior Account Manager to cover a regional territory in SW Germany. The company has been steadily growing for the last 25+ years and is now entering its next phase of global commercial growth.

Who you’ll be joining:

  • The DACH team is currently split into 7 territories, and they will be increasing
  • They are currently hiring for 2 newly created positions for Zurich (German-speaking) or SW Germany.
  • You will work alongside a team of Field Application Specialists, Inside Sales Specialists and other Salespeople
  • The team offer support but not micromanaging, so are looking for people who enjoy autonomy while working as part of a larger team

Role responsibilities:

Here, you will be responsible for selling the company’s capital equipment, reagents, and services into new and existing accounts within a designated region. This will include pharmaceutical accounts, biotech companies, academics, and CROs.

One of the role’s key features will be the development of Key Accounts and New Business Development so strong interpersonal skills are a must.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced salesperson who has an established network within pharma, biotech, and academic accounts based in NW Germany – Ideally Freiberg / Frankfurt / Mannheim / Karlsruhe / Heidelberg. You must be someone who enjoys prospecting, and strategic account development and you must have experience selling Life Science Instrumentation and Consumables.

You will ideally have a background in Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Proteomics or an associated field, and a good understanding of Immunology.
