We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to acquire new accounts and manage existing ones within the assigned territory of France and Belgium. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing profitable, long-term, value-added customer relationships using relationship-selling techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture profitable, long-term customer accounts through relationship-based sales approaches.
  • Understand the clinical and economic trends that influence decision-making in the healthcare market.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and actively participate in sales activities.
  • Maintain target price levels through effective negotiation strategies.
  • Regularly update and maintain all account and contact information in the CRM database.
  • Provide consistent and accurate sales forecast updates.
  • Build and manage a robust short-, medium–, and long-term sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of leads and sales opportunities.
  • Introduce new technology platforms and products to key accounts and public laboratories within the territory.
  • Offer regular feedback to management on the status of accounts, customers, and key initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A Bac+5 degree in Biology, Health, or Biotechnology.
  • In-depth knowledge of next-generation sequencing (NGS) and the SaaS ecosystem.
  • A proven sales track record with significant experience in a clinical and/or laboratory market environment.
  • Fluency in both English and French.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
